Estes Valley Library’s 3D printers supporting the fight against COVID-19 Estes Valley residents are helping Colorado’s medical communities with support from the Estes Valley Library, whose two 3D printers are now making parts in cooperation with the Northern Colorado Face Shield Project and Make4COVID. The library team’s 3D printing efforts are led by IT specialist Allison Cavis, who benefits from the daily updates and recommendations these organizations provide with tracking healthcare medical PPE needs in Northern Colorado.

Many have asked, “Could the Library’s 3D printers help create urgently-needed healthcare equipment?” After careful testing and coordination with the Northern Colorado Face Shield Project, the answer is ‘yes’!
